The venue is 40 minutes from Tallinn, deep the countryside of Estonia.
Fortunately it is easy to get there.

Location

Step 1 - Get to Tallinn. Fly, train, or ferry. It is a well connected city

Step 2 - Get the train from the main station to Lohu or Kohila
Step 3 - Walk or ask to get picked up

This festival will be offering everything from intro to Hands Free all the way up to the impossible.
Note: intro to Hands Free is not the same as intro to acro.
Given this, we have prerequisites. Which are:

4-step (or similar)
Ninja Star (or similar)
Some pose standing on the base (such as foot-to-hand or foot to shin)
Consistent entrance to Reverse Star (any entrance, doesn't need to be a jump)

Prerequisites

This is not a business venture for us, it is a celebration of our passion.
To keep prices low we are taking the Dutch approach.

This means that every participant, organiser, and teacher

at the festival is responsible for 1 task during the event.
When you arrive, you will be asked to put your name on the task of your choosing.
(Get there early to have more choice!)

Not Just Acro

Although the festival is primarily acro based, the event & venue offer more. During your time at HFAF you will be able to: enjoy nightly saunas, explore trails in forests, receive thai massage in a group setting or receive private professional massages, and of course eat some homemade cakes from the mini-cafe.

What Does Hands Free Really Mean

There are a few different understandings out there, some more hands free than others. However, at HFAF, it means that all of the balancing is done through weight bearing points of contact only. Here are some examples of poses that meet this definition:

  • hands free star and reverse star

  • hands free side star

  • hands free shoulder stand

  • mono foot to hand (f2h)

  • and even h2h based on our definition (however h2h is not intended to be a big part of HFAF)

What Is The Event Actually Called?
